Re: Navarre, Florida

It is truly a beautiful place...not nearly as crowded and built up as other areas of Florida. A natural setting for those who love the ocean, sparkling turquoise waters and the sand really is like sugar! Thanks for the input, Dufferz!

the Panhandle is traditionally known as the redneck riviera, and in my opinion it lives up to the tag, but it's growing, but Naples it 'ain't'

Everything I have researched for this area is coming back good. The crime is low, housing is low, hmmmmmmm maybe I should move there or invest in a condo. How far is it from Boca Raton? I have some relatives there.

Boca Raton is far away from Navarre on the opposite side of the state. 600+ miles.

Panama City which is about 80 miles down the coast from Navarre is predicted to have one of the highest real estate gains over the next 5 years.

Re: Navarre, Florida

My, you all are so updated on the real estate! It's true...they are building a new airport in Panama City and a huge development called Pier Park, which is directly on the coast. Supposedly, people who buy real estate there now will see it appreciate 72%...give or take. That's an INCREDIBLE gain!

We are so happy in Navarre, but my hubby has a very good chance of getting a higher-paying job in Panama City (at Pier Park) and we are torn!
I'll keep everyone posted, but we will know for sure in April...it opens in May!

MyAzi, I know this sounds ridiculous, but I'm really not very computer oriented! I have some pics and I'll try to post them soon...life is busy with a toddler...sigh, but it keeps me young!

Re: Navarre, Florida

I read somewhere that Navarre is getting a new town center or something like that. It mentioned something about Home Depot having to change the appearance of their storefront in order to be allowed to build there.

Re: Navarre, Florida

Awesome pics, Pan! And actually, pictures don't even do this area justice as it's even more beautiful in person!
