| Im Moving to Orlando Florida in 2009 to go to College, do you think i'll be safe...
...regarding hurricane wheather? I also wanted to know about the crime rate in comparasion to los angelos. I don't plan to invest property, I just want to live in Florida for about 2 -3 years, knowing the do's and donts about huricanes. I also heard that orlando hasnt had a direct hit in a while. What are the major cities at risk? Are there any hurricane free cities, if any?

The reason that Orlando hasn't had a direct hit is because Orlando is not a coastal city. It's inland.
