First; is there really any such thing as a "secular, fundamentalist neo-lib"? Something oxy-moronic wi' 'dat.
Second; Set yourself in one corner of the bar. Set Pan in another corner. Set me in another.
All of us are merely watching people come and go and observing.
At the end of the evening, we compare tally-cards to see how many times each of us muttered the words "Idiot" or "Moron" or "Goofball" under our breath.
I'm betting the tally cards would add-up to be about the same.
Point? One of the operative words with humans ... love 'em or hate 'em ... is "Idiot" or "Moron" or "Goofball".
This would seem to indicate, on paper anyway, that the human race is somewhat steeped in ignorance.
Which explains that thing that's ticking you off.

Moving along, the next word tonight is "Forgiveness".
