I hope this last outbreak of tornados doesn't start more trouble with the homeowner's insurance in Florida. My son wants to buy a home soon in Florida and I don't know how he will afford it.

We just relocated in Navarre from Baton Rouge and although we are renting, we are actually paying less for insurance (auto and renter's) than we were in Louisiana...almost 25%! I know that homeowner's insurance is very hefty here, but in order for people to stay or be able to move here, that's going to have to change a little, in my opinion. Where is your son planning on relocating in Florida?
