Has anyone heard from Admin today?

I've been gone to church a good part of the day...so just wondering if admin. posted today? Had hoped to see the new rules today, as he indicted in his post last night:)

Ah, yes. He is out and about. I think he said something about rule number 3 was Izzy could only post on odd saturdays of even leap years or something.

Hey, 53...Did I hear you over did it today walking? As far as rule #3 My hubby wishes that were true. He said today..."Hey, I'm getting jealous of whoever you're talking too...talk to me." Dam, it is the weekend...and he expects me to talk to him

yeah, a little. Bare in mind, the furthest I've made it since I got out of the hospital is 1/2 mile. Today, I walked a mile. Was here at the house saying, that wasn't so bad. So I walked to the Hospital and back. That's another 3 miles. That's ok. Cause now I can't walk.

I'll have plenty of time to rest up and make my legs bend again.

I must of have missed that you were in the hospital. Sorry to hear it. Was it long ago or recent? I drive everywhere. If I walked 3 miles...it would have been while I was shopping.:) Tylenol (sp) arthritis works real well...it is what my doc recommended. My joints lock up sometimes. Actually...half the time. Heck, getting old.:)

It's been a while, last June 2, thru July 20'th or so. Been a long climb back so to speak. They told me going in that it was my gal bladder. Make a 2 inch incision and viola, gone.

Woke up, I had 75 staples and a 20 inch scar. Had 3 tubes running out of me and all kinds of gadgets hooked up. Seems the gal bladder had turned gayngrenious (sp) and they ended up taking not only the galbladder. But 80% of my large intestine, 80% of my colon, and 40% of my small intestine. I thought, Are we having fun yet or what?

Oh, I have to tell you. When one of the tubes was taken out, it left a perfect circle scar that is dented.

My daughter come up to visit and she brought my 5 year old grandson. She held him up and pointed at it and said, "See, that's where they shot grandpa."

Wow. 53 you have had MAJOR surgery...considering that...I think you walked to far today. Take it easy. You got the surgery that all those folks losing weight have been getting. You didn't even ask for it Maybe you should start with a walking machine at home. Then when you get tired you can stop and be at home. Rest a few and start again.

Sheridan, you never mentioned that stuff before. We shoulda had the sympathy truck here long before now. Can I grab you an elk-hide chewy or anything? And stop hurting yourself - spring is almost here - you have to be ready for slipping in the mud soon!

Go over to Wyoming, pictures of sheridan and take a look. No snow. I was slipping in the mud today. haha A week ago we had about 18 inches of snow everywhere. Now we have mud. But I tried to stay on the pavement.

An elk chewy would be great. haha But that's ok, I'll just dig some elk jerkey or moose jerky out and nibble on that.

Well, I got a little miffed but figured it was better to just go for a walk then it was to post what I thought.

Now that I'm back, I'm not sure the walk was the better of the two. I hurt. haha
