Is there a way to search members by state?

Just curious...is there a way I can search people by state or region. West coast, midwest, east coast. Just trying to figure out a way...a member could find out how many member are in their region. Or if someone had a state question they could easily look up the members that are in that state.

Good question, Izzy...you might just want to look in the state that you're curious about and see who has volunteered information in that area. I'm not sure everyone gives much info about themselves regarding their profiles. Any other ideas?

Well the poll about regions is working...because if you click on the numbers it shows the member names. But wish there was a search option...search for members living in this state. Don't want personal info. All of us at one time or another say what state we're in.

I had people at C-D...PM me about questions on central california. If in the search options where it says "user name" next to it you could use a pull down with states initals "CA" and leave the user name blank...then it could search all members in that state. Just wondered if the info. was already search able and I missed it.
