I just noticed little light bulbs for new threads on the index page. SPIFFY!!!

Good thing you didn’t put ape hangers on it .
Don’t they use one of them beepers an a dial indicator for the timing?
Shouldn’t be to hard adjusting carb’s you only have 2 . I found the most time consuming part was adjusting them to open the same. after that all mixture adjustments should be the same ,then just read the plugs to fine tune.

I really like this one.

The nice yellow buttons to alert you to new posts/threads is excellent. Jumps right out at you. Before, the light blue could be missed pretty easily.

We had them before, but like Wyoming53 said they were easy to miss. They can also each be turned off with a double click until the next new thread/post.

Okay how about something like this next to the talkstate logo using photos already posted by everyone here. I started to search and use everyone's stuff but it was to hard to locate just the pics. Something you might want to include is a way to search for images/pics of places. Folks always like to see what a town looks like. I gave up trying to find the ones I remembered but couldn't find. Also I liked the home page that Pdx used as an example. I once took a class about writing manuals...the teacher said we have gone to 70% pictures and visual indicators and 30% text. I think the home page here should have more of a visual feel to it and less text. The one PDX gave as an example was very clean looking. A combo of that and what we already have would be a good start. Just my two cents.

Okay how come I couldn't make my pic as big as 53 does his? How come when I uploaded it it posted as a thumb nail instead? Got to be something simple. Been a while since I posted a pic.

If people who live in Idaho are called "SPUDS", are their children called "TATER TOTS"?

Yes, I should be able to change it. I think 10pt is the default font size.

Okay in live feed I see icons. Some orange yellow...some orange yellow with a dot. Could you please have something at the bottom of the page with a blurp about what those icons mean? Thanks.

Okay...figured out how to make the image bigger by reading the info. on bottom of page under posting rules.

I just removed the orange from the "offline" icon so it is easier to tell apart from the "online" icon.

I know how much work goes into this... I think you are doing a great job. I do like this one...but didn't see the first one but no biggie. Ultimately this is your fourm and you get to decide! What ever you decide I am sure we will all get used to it.

Yes, whatever admin decides will be great. But I do hope he settles on one soon. Right now I feel like I'm living in a 5 star hotel and changing rooms every night. Nice for a vacation...but can't wait to get back to my comfy home, chase chair with a cup of herbal tea.

I think 3 is a winner. Of course we all have personal touches we would like to see. But it becomes personal at that point...like decorating your home. So at some point you just have to put your mark on the place and the rest of us will get use to it. I REALLY didn't like theme #1 though.
