Things look pretty cool now, the color schemes seem to pronounce things better ,once the fonts are a little bigger I’ll be good . one thing is there any way to have more animated smiley’s ? you know the more toys the better

Re: ADMIN - Please read and reply

Thank you. haha I knew you were probably working on it so I didn't say anything. When you log onto home, there was no way to easily get to the forum without going through one of the messages posted. but I just noticed you added Forum to the bar up top. Thank you.

The more I play with this format, the more I like it. It's pleasing to the eye but flags stick out a lot better then before. The old format was nice, but seemed kind of washed out. This one is more bold and kind of makes you set up and pay attention.

haha And then I posted this on the wrong thread. Talk about paying attention.

Yeah, I am still working on getting a few of our old customizations switched over.

Re: New Look Onsite

Admin: may have found a glitch in the new page.
Can't find a way to delete a post.
I posted on the SoDak forum - realized I may be in error with what I thought was Deadhorse, SD but must've been Deadhorse, Alaska so went to delete. Managed to delete pic and words but the jukebox remains.

Re: New Look Onsite

Maybe I should. I looked all over for a way to delete - couldn't find it ... then, I just pulled up another one to edit and POOF - there it was. N and Out Alzheimers!
NOPE = ain't me. Went back over there and there was not delete button. Halloween!

Re: Test Theme 3

When the next version of vBulletin is released in the near future, I might just change us to a slightly modified default theme with something like this image that isabel made along the top. Editing all of the custom theme templates with each new version release is starting to be a big job to keep up with. They are done automatically on the default theme. That will leave me with more time to work on content here and manage my other projects. If the site gets popular enough after that, I will probably look into getting somebody to help out with customizing it more and keeping the customizations up to date.

Something you might want to include is a way to search for images/pics of places. Folks always like to see what a town looks like. I gave up trying to find the ones I remembered but couldn't find. Also I liked the home page that Pdx used as an example. I once took a class about writing manuals...the teacher said we have gone to 70% pictures and visual indicators and 30% text. I think the home page here should have more of a visual feel to it and less text. The one PDX gave as an example was very clean looking. A combo of that and what we already have would be a good start. Just my two cents.

53 I found one of yours:) Izzy
