renaming your screen name

I know that a lot of poster here on the board are members on both this and city-d. They are hiding their true identity by using a new screen name.

Is it possible, or proper to ask to have the name changed once city-d bans the poster? I am so familiar with names such as aim1700, if she was under a different name, it would be hard to remember.

If anybody wants their screen name changed, they can send me a private message with what they want it changed to and I will take care of it.

What am I missing here? Why would someone change their screen name on here just because they post to city-d also? Do you think that City-d would ban someone just because they belong to another board?

I think that I'm misunderstanding something here.

you are missing something...yes ppl have been banned from citycaca for joining Talkstates...the mods at citycaca have been sneaking around here...

That puddy is adorable! Cats are my passion my entire life but can't habe any as my hubby is very allergic...sniff. His tonsils will actually bleed, that's how bad he is. This keeps saying my message is too short all of a sudden...do i have to write a book here on my husbands allergies? LOL

The 3 cats i had when my hubby and i met were, Aja, MistyMarie and Face....thank God i was able to find them all a great home..i had them for 7 yrs, almost out of the womb, they were my girls.

I had a Russian Blue named Aja. She passed at the age of 16. I still miss her terribly

Our siamese Jo-Jo just passed over the weekend. He was a comfort to my wife and the first cat I ever called my buddy - what a unique breed.

I can tell you for a FACT that they keep track of people that post over here and will not allow them to become moderators over there if they also post here. This is a "competitive site" and to them, it is WAR.

Several posters are both here and there with the same screen name, and I think C-D will live with that as long as you are a good little drone in the system and make NO waves for them over there. I do believe however, that you are on their watch list, and if you did not know it by now, they will be monitoring you PM's.

It goes without saying that if you are a member here, you will never be a mod over there. Too risky. They must pick mods who are good drones and will not question their methods.

Well with 4 small boys to raise, a business to run, 2 committees at the elementary, and 1 more at the preschool to serve on there is no way that I've got time to moderate anything!! :-)
