Ignore list? Has that always been there? Great Idea.

Hi everybody,

I just noticed when I was trying to see where a new member was from...that I could add a user to my ignore list. I noticed the buddy list before...Was the ignore list always there? What a funny idea. I think that is great for folks who want it. Don't like a users comments on a regular basis...put them on your ignore list? I guess that is the concept. Admin. you are really sharp and quick.

The ignore list just keeps ya from getting fustrated with a person that aggravates ya. I should have used it over there at CD

There were A LOT of grumpy people over there that needed to be ignored by everyone!! I tried to balance it out as much as I could by being positive, but it seemed like they wouldn't be happy anywhere with anyone!! It must be a hard life being such a grump. I sure am glad that I am a happy camper at least most of the time!!

I love the ignore thingie..it saves me alot of time and energy not having to see fire and smoke.

It's sort of nice being at the other end of the igore too, though. I can say anything I want and she doesn't have any idea that I said it! Pretty good for both parties involved, actually.

Cheryl, I think if more people would focus on the positives rather than negative, as you do, the world would be a better place. Much easier said than done, though...sigh

Rocco, we had a guy at the racetrack do that to us. so wile he was buttinen up his pants we ran over knocked him down, he was face down in the dirt ,wile me an another guy each grabbed a leg an dragged him trying to get his pants off. sad to say we never did get his pants off but he never mooned us again .

Memo to self: Self, remember that just because a person has you on "ignore" doesn't mean that you can insult them because somebody may come along in the meantime and quote your post and then the person who has you on ignore can see what you wrote!)

Okay, speaking of the "ignore list," If I start a thread, will the people who have me on "ignore" not see the thread at all? ...or will they see the thread but just not my posts?

They will see the thread but not your post. It will have a bar with your name on it and an option to view your post. If they choose to view, it will pop down your post in the thread.

No, I would never ignore you rocco.:) There are a few that I've put on ignore. But I usually end up viewing their post...because the thread doesn't make sense with gaps. But I at least have to make the choice of viewing those users post.

If you were on ignore. I wouldn't have seen your last post:)
