Delay on loading

I am noticing a delay when loading the pages and sending posts. I am experiencing this on two computers. I did not notice this before the site went down for maintenance a few days ago.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yes and that is a server issue... Other than Admin contacting her hosting company and BEGGING them to look into it... there is not much she can do. Sometimes that happens on our server and we have to complain non stop to get them to do anything about it. We have a hosting company and the people we get our space from now know we will bug them to death. So they take care of us quickly...

I am male.

We are on a dedicated server which our hosting company doesn't touch. I probably need to tweak our mysql setting a little bit since changing operating systems and reinstalling all services during our last downtime. I will check it out later tonight.

I submitted a server optimization request to the vBulletin team. I am waiting for them to get back to me with a configuration suggestion optimized for our server hardware and software versions.

When I don't know someone/something's gender I usually think of him/her/it as male. I'm just more comfortable thinking of indeterminant genders as such.

Yeah good luck with that.... from what I recall it takes a while to get an answer that actually works. Hope it isn't that way for you!
