User Name in Bold Lettering

How come some user names show up in bold lettering and some in "thinner" lettering?

I had thin lettering up until the other day when I hit 80 posts so I thought it was determined by the number of posts but that's not it because I see where a member with even more posts than me is still in thin lettering.

Bold blue usernames are upgraded accounts that I have given to some people.
