| Who wants to be a number?
Who wants to be a number on the Nationalized healthcare list? Who wants to wait 6 months for a doctor appointment? Who wants to wait 6 months or more for cancer treatments? Who wants doctors that are paid for by the Feds? Good luck even getting them to order any testing for you. Anyone want to take my spot in line, you are welcome to it. I'll keep my private insurance. What does everyone think?

They make less money & more paper work then privet practice . They are only allowed certain tests under certain conditions. If you want to know What government run health care would be like ask the doctors what they think of the hmo’s. with every body complaining about the way they run S.S an Medicare why On earth would you even think of giving the government more taxes to run healthcare! An believe me it will be more taxes , it ain’t gona run for free!!! A BIG NO THANKS!!!!

Yep! God help us if Hilarycare is on the way. I know that certain HMO's won't let the doctors run test, that's why they give you a prescription and tell you to go away.

I think a lot of people just don't realize the extreme negatives of nationalized healthcare. The people in favor of this make it sound like it is wonderful, but I would rather pay a little bit of money through insurance and choose my doctor and get care immediately. Dufferz had a great post about that on the "other" forum and he went into a little more detail. Bottom line to me is: absolutely no way! I prefer LESS government programs...this is America...and I hope it stays that way. I honestly think that if we could actually DO something about the ILLEGAL (not legal) immigrants coming in and driving the prices of insurance and malpractice...it would be a starting point. No one is refused medical treatment if it is deemed necessary. |
