News Media working for the Dems?

What's up with the media working to try to get the Dems elected? This is ridiculous, I say we all boycott these networks. I'm sick of these liberals hiding under the title of journalist. Journalist they are not!

It's getting progressively worse...it's great to have any information that you would like at your fingertips via the internet and news channels, but it was also a curse because the media is beyond a doubt very liberal. I used to watch Anderson Cooper because I really liked a lot of his stories and he seemed real and neutral...he's leaning quite a bit to the left like most of the others.

Just think if we would have had this media during WWII or even the Civil War...I'm pretty sure that it would have probably changed our history books. In my opinion, because of the fact that people are so naive and ignorant regarding our politics, it's horrible that the media is so liberal. Just my opinion in a nutshell...a1m1700 - we're on the same page, as usual. Hope it's going good for you in North Carolina!

Its sad that not only are they bias but they twist things to fit there agenda. There words are powerful and they know it. We the people are subject to whatever they conform us to be by the power of there words. When are we going to say enough is enough. If they say bell bottoms are in, we will be weiring bell bottoms. Its scary that we allow this type of manipulation to go on. We are suppose to put on the news and expect the truth without a twist but yet we are subject to manipulation.

Here's a scoop - gad, am I older than everyone here? Just undocumented history presented from my personal opinion.
As I was coming up, the newspapers were all, seemingly, owned by republicans - there was no right or left then -just right or arrested - and the articles were all slanted that way - I'm talking at least Chicago to PA. People then seemed to believe and support what they read in the papers as gospel.
These days, it appears that most papers are published by the same right-wing owners BUT (notice it's a big but) - most reporters, being somewhat educated, seem to lean left and what I'm saying is; You're probably right about there being a slant-left that is the opposite of the older days - but it also may be that for right now, the Dems are just more newsworthy while the Reps are still sorting some PR out before they start their abnormally successful pushes. I'm usually more left than right but still a mild conservative - but ask my wife - I'm never completely right!

News worthy like Dan Rather and his phony documents? I bet you never heard about Sandy Berger stealing documents and shoving them down his pants on CNN. I may be out of touch but I like to get the whole news and not a sifted agenda driven version. Have you heard the tape of Obama whinning to Maureen Dowd and putting her on notice for making fun of his big ears? I bet if a Republican running for President was whinning and threatening a reporter caught on tape it would be plastered all over the cable networks.

From what I've heard, Sandy Berger is only on probation for about three years and then he'll be back...I can't believe he wasn't put away forever. Who knows what information he had and who he gave it to. No one is even sure if he returned all of the documents...he SAID he did but there's no way of knowing what he took since they weren't signed out...I guess we should believe him...it must have been an honest mistake.

And people are complaining about the Patriot Act...wow.

I bet the liberals on here haven't even heard he took classified documents and shoved them in his pants. hmmmmmmmm I wonder what those documents were. Can you imagine if someone in the Bush Administration did that? The liberal media is not interested when it's a dem.

Fox news is about all I watch. Sometimes I switch over just to get an idea of what the liberal press is pushing. Katie Couric is not one of those!
Have you heard the uproar about "24"....the liberal press and the muslims are really having a field day with that one.

AIM, my terminology "news-worthy" refers to exactly what you mention, i.e., the mainstream, glitter & glam hype pushed on the public.
I prefer the same type of info you do - the undressed, bare-naked truth without sequins.
But we also must face the reality that the masses can and will be swayed by what they expose themselves to and generally, this means the more entertaining network broadcasts and whichever slant they're currently presenting.
And no, I haven't seen or heard about Obama & Dowd yet - been a little busy getting ready to relocate - seem to be missing my morning doses of CNN & Fox (sorry, it's all I got unless I wanna watch NBC/ABC/CBS and their chefs)
Oh, and AIM, I believe everybody saw the stories about Berger and his "file-pants" ... been so long I'd almost forgotten - but the visual you present is unforgettable! I never even cared whose "side" Berger was on - my only thoughts at the time were "what a buffoon".
