It means that, I'll never hear the end of this! I took steps into those waters many years ago and backed-out later. Didn't believe in speaking any rules of religion over anybody's personal beliefs - which are more important - much the same way as I feel about politics today. It's part of why I'm almost a Liberal but not quite, almost a conservative but not quite and (can you tell I'm trying to link back to the thread here?) ... and so, it's why I can tolerate one person's right-wing-rant and another's left - it's all personal feelings and it's this freedom to feel and express that makes America great!

Remember when I told you in another post to stay close to God? Well you didn't have to go that far!

Y'know, I've had a couple thousand or so helicopter rides and known many pilots - and they tell me one of them was black - but I sure don't remember him - lived up in Montana last I heard.

I am going to Vote for Richard Pryor. Or None of the above. We need a good 3rd party canidate in there.. the Dems and the Repubs have bith had there chance, and they have screwed this country up way to much.. lets give a 3rd party a chance to fix it.

I'm glad you and Panterro brought this up. I've been disappointed for several years now that Pat Paulson isn't running anymore.

But really, seriously, let's be civil. We've got a weirdillion politicians out there who don't know how to do anything else. It would be unfair to give them all the boot ...... without an alternative - and in the scope of electing a comedian or somesuch, we would have to boot out the politicos.
So, I say we start the search now - and find these bone-headed, numb-kneed politicians ... a country to run!!! I dunno ... Iraq maybe? Iran? Mexico? Panama? Midway? ..... yes, I think I like Midway as a choice - or perhaps the Canary Islands ... no, Midway. Why give the mutts access to Spain - Spain hasn't done anything to us for a long, long time.

I actually heard the fellow who wrote it sing it a couple of years ago. He was in a local concert with Shenandoah - he also wrote the song "The Letter" performed by the Beatles and Joe Cocker.
