So Much Fun

What is the most fun thing you have done in your state?

Someplace that you would recommend to someone if they were coming to your state. Could be at a particular time of the year or event. Or just a place.

For me I would say Bumbershoot... It is during Labor Day weekend in Seattle. They have hundreds of groups to listen to and some decent headliners. Tons of food, crafts and music. I love going!!!!!

It was tubing down the salt river in AZ. That will be till I heard what Ron White of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour had to say about it.

Re: So Much Fun

For my local area of Colorado, I would say The Palisade Peach Festival. Palisade is a peach and grape wine growing region.

Camping in the summer in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in the northeastern corner of the state. It's pure wilderness...no roads, no buildings, nothing but your backpack, canoe and the outdoors. You're lucky if you see more than a few people in a week's long trip there. No plane noise, no motorboats, it's unreal. So many beautiful lakes and scenery. Definitely worth a visit if you love REAL camping and the outdoors.
