I lived in Colorado Springs for over 25 years. Yes, it snowed one time in July. Some winters there is a lot of snow, some winters very little. You will enjoy having 4 seasons! It is a beautiful city with mostly sunny days. Jobs run a lot to high tech types. Colorado Springs was named the best city in the U.S. to live in with a population over 300,000 in 2006.

I lived in the Springs when I was a little girl. The only thing I remember is Dad getting snow on his vegetable garden in the middle of July. If he hadn't been in the service and stationed at the Air Force Academy I think we would of moved right then. It's gorgeous it's just cold.
