Were thinking of moving to Savannah, what "older" neighborhoods are safe?

bubbleG9, I hate to be the one to tell you this but evil is everywhere ! Some places are safer than others. Just rely on the lord Jesus and he will keep your family in his presence.

Hi,
Were are thinking of moving to Savannah, and although we've been there before and really loved it, we've heard it is not so safe, especially near downtown. But since were a younger couple, we would like to find a neighborhood we can really settle down in and maybe have kids in a few years. We love the older style bungalow/craftsman style homes and those kind of older neighborhoods, is there any near Savannah that are safe?
