a Bachelor's degree? I am a college student in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and I will be graduating in Mass Communications (PR) in May 2008. Should I stay here in Baton Rouge and earn my Master's Degree on my parent's tab. Or should I shoot for responsibility and move to Atlanta and take a job with Corporate AT&T while pursuing my Master's at a university there? I am very confused, but very much of a people person (Social Butterfly).

Well, only you can decide what risks are worth taking in this regard. If your parents are "enthusiastic" about you staying there and getting your Masters, then go for it. It's not that long and will give you time to save up your money - relocation is very expensive and you run out of $ much sooner than you think.

Plan B: Rent a "corporate" apartment in Atlanta for 3 months if you can afford it (they're furnished and usually very nice), or cheaper, stay at an extended stay hotel type of place for a month (can be seedy but in some areas they're decent). Apply for jobs. See if you get the type of thing you want. If so, bingo, stay. If nothing pans out, go back home and finish that degree and try later.
