Kitchen Paint

After a long time I am into renovating my home. Basically the prime areas are the kitchen and bathroom. Now I would want to know what sort of paint would make life easier for me to resist the stains in them. I do not have a chimney therefore the emission from cooking does tend to deposit on the walls. Even the exhaust fan became oily. It would be good to know if chimney is the only viable answer to my problems or will any particular paint help me too.

Re: Kitchen Paint

I would check your local Lowe's or Home Depot. There are several easy clean wall pain where all you do (supposedly) is just wipe it off. Should resist stains. As far as the kitchen stains go, I could not live without a kitchen exhaust fan. I'm not sure if there is another answer, that would personally drive me nuts =( I wish you luck! You should post pictures of the finished product :D

Re: Kitchen Paint

Go with a high gloss paint. they tend to be rather "slippery" on the surface and will wipe off easier.
