What would anyone think of moving to Idaho?

Ive lived there before, and i heard that some people thought it was like an old western state with cowboys-lol- but its actually pretty fun and nice place to live : )

Actually, my hubby and I have been researching it for a couple of years. Boise area. But I really like the idea of a college town like Moscow. Boise has all the features of a metro area. But still smaller than a lot of capitol cities. Also, not fair from mountains and snow.

I haven't been there in many years. Only passed through it on vacation a life time ago. But the home prices are still pretty reasonable. Many CA are moving there. It is only a $200. plane ride round trip from CA for family to come and visit. A 14 hour drive. I hear it gets pretty cold. But snow is not deep in the Boise area itself. But a lot in the mountains.

Moscow sure looks pretty and I like the fact that it is very diverse.

Holl...where did you live in Idaho?
