Moving to Idaho, what is the best hunting?

I will be moving from Knoxville where deer is really the only big game to hunt for. What types of medium to big game are good hunting in Idaho and is it worth driving North or South for better hunting? Also, a Savage 30-06 is the only rifle I have.

Idaho has whitetail and mule deer, elk, black bear, mountain lions, antelope and wolves. Your .30-06 is perfect.

Why don't you get the thrill out of fighting for animal rights instead of killing them?

Idahoans find great sport in hunting Californians, illegal aliens, and homosexuals. In the panhandle area you can also add blacks, asians, Muslims and Jews to the list.
