| Weather data for Idaho
Before moving to a state it is important to learn all you can about the area you want to live in. Weather is a important factor for most in that we are used to the climate we live in, so moving means a new neighborhood, a new climate. Hearing from people what the weather is like, is similar to hearing reason why or why not to live somewhere. Perspective. Now you have the chance to see some really interesting information. The following link will take you to the Western Regional Climate Center web site. This site keeps weather data, showing the historic information about every aspect of weather that you could imagine. This site is straightforward, not fancy, no flashing ads Yeah!, just data. When select a city, make sure you look at all of the options on the left side to see different things about the weather. Lastly, make sure you bookmark this page! it's not easy getting back in from the main page ![]() Here it is: http://www.wrcc.dri.edu/summary/climsmid.html

We used to hike a lot up at Taylor Mountain and there would be a lot of snow back there! You don't live on the benches around I.F. do you??? The city really does not get that much snow if you think about it. I mean, how much is really on the ground each winter? It's only every few winters that the snow sticks and it piles up. Look at Island Park: 211 inches!!! That's 17.5 FEET of snow!!!!!!!

Nope, not on the benches, but I can see Taylor Mountain from where I'm at and just a hop, skip and a jump from the Bone rest area I'm in between Ammon and Ucon. No, I know it depends on just which station is reporting the snowfall. Out where I am we can, at times, get more than the city does. Last week's storm was thoughtful enough to bring us six inches, which actually brings the road crew to my neck of the woods to do more than sand |
