I'm wondering if anyone knows much about Emmetts. Just about 30 minutes from Boise. The real estate there seems real reasonable. I want to know about the commute to Boise and any other details about Emmetts. Izzy

Not ever having done the actual commute from Emmett to Boise I can't give you any facts. I can however say that the times in winter I can recall they tend to on occasion have some hard roads to travel on with icy, snowy roads. While it's true they get less snow than Eastern Idaho, they tend to get a fair amount of black ice.

Emmett doesn't get that much black ice. The big downfall of commuting between the two is the big mountain you have to cross. Emmett is in a valley, so you have to drive up and down "freeze-out hill" daily. Emmett is beautiful, but there are other places to live in that are just as nice in the Treasure Valley.
