certified in missouri, moving to illinois. do i have to be re-certified in il?

I am currently in dental assisting school in missouri. when i graduate i will be a certified dental assistant in missouri. husband and i are thinking of moving to illinois. i was wondering, do i need to be re-certified in illinois? would i have to retake the certification test? i need specific details.... thank you so much!

Typically licensure is state by state, though many have reciprocity, but certification is usually done by a national body.
