What is the morning commute from greenwood IN to downtown Indianapolis,...

...moving to Indy and plan to buy home? What suburbs are good for schooling. Moving from Cincy, I am hoping I-65 won't be as bad as 1-75 in Cincy during rush hour.

Indianapolis morning traffic is nothing compared to most major cities. The north side of town Carmel/Fishers is the worst. If you really want to cut your commute time to a minimum Avon/Plainfield and/or Greenfield/New Palestine may also be good options. I really would not sweat commuting. You will get to work in less than a half hour guaranteed coming out of Greenwood.

The best schools in the area are in Zionsville, Carmel and Fishers. In the Greenwood area, you have to stay within the Center Grove/White River Twp area. Another good area for schools is New Palestine. Small schools sytem, but consistently ranked very high. Commutes depend on how close to the interstate you live or if there is an alternate route. Unless there's an accident, traffic moves.
