| I am looking to move to Indianapolis, preferably in a suburb south of Indianapolis.?
My boyfriend just got a job in Carmel, he wants to live south of Indianapolis. I am from the west, so I have no clue about the area, I do need to take into consideration the schools, the cost, and of course safe and decent neighborhoods. I also can't commute too far to a job, Can anyone give me a few pointers?

Greenwood is the first suburb south of Indy. If schools are a concern, stay within the White River Twp/Center Grove system. New Palestine is also good, it's southeast of the city off I-74.
