| I will be 17 in a month. I have a one month old son & want to move out
with his father is it legal in Indiana My son and I are currently living with my mom and I want to move out of her house when I turn 17 in one month. And move in with the father of my son and i wanted to know if it was legal in the state of Indiana with me only being 17 years of age?

No, you cannot move out without your parents' permission. The legal age of majority in Indiana is 18. If you leave home without parental consent your parents can report you as a runaway.

Sorry hun ... you have to wait another year, unless your parents agree to give parental consent to have you marry the father of your son.
