| Relocating for job in Louisville--should we move to So. Indiana or No. Kentucky?
We will be relocating for a job in Louisville, KY. We have two elementary school aged children and a middle schooler. We are looking for the area that has the best schools and nice houses with affordable rent. We had our heart set on Oldham County, but there are not many places for rent there. Besides Oldham County, what other counties have good schools? We haven't decided if we will live in Southern Indiana or Northern Kentucky as the job is in Louisville, so suggestions in both areas would be greatly appreciated. I have been on the Great Schools and School Digger web sites, but I think I have overwhelmed myself with so much information and need some guidance from knowledgable people. Thank you in advance for your help!!

Floyd's Knobs Indiana has a fantastic school system and it's beautiful country. We have friends in New Albany who like it as well. I've not heard good things about Jeffersonville though. From what I understand, living in Indiana is cheaper ...
