Moving to quad cities in iowa/illinois.?

Good/bad neighborhoods? Good apartments/townhouses/condos? Surrounding suburbs?

Im pretty sure most cities in Iowa are going to be safe. there is a very small population there with one of the lowest minority percentage in the country. Not to be stereotypical or anything but studies do suggest that with a larger population and higher minority rate, the higher the crime rate.
