| Moving to Maine... a thought...
Curious here. For those in Maine... what is the best area to live? I keep looking at Bar Harbor. Is that an isalnd or a coastal town? I have also looked at Bangor. Is that a big place or smaller type of town "feel?" I lived in Maine for several months as when I was younger and I loved it there. So very beautiful...but didn't really encounter a winter. Are they as harsh as I have heard?

Bar Harbor is both actually. It is by Acadia N.P. On an Island. But at the same time it is a coastal town as well. As For Bangor well It is a friendly little town. Just be careful of the double rotary with 2 lanes. That gets scary. You will learn your way around it. LOL Of course the site of the dump as soon as you get into town from the highway is shocking. But aside from that it is nice.
