i'm thinking of moving from boston (where i've lived my entire life)

to boulder city nevada. pros & cons?? i'm looking for objective pros and cons to living in nevada.....like for instance bugs (are tarantulas, scorpians a problem), what about medical care- are the hospitals great, are the doctors great. what about birds- do you have pretty ones? as you can see i'm looking for the whole gammet on why i should move with my husband besides no snow.

I think Nevada is a good place, especially if you like to go spend your days in Las Vegas ( I would love to do that)
I live in the north part of US too and I know how cold and snowy MA is
When I visit NV few years ago at summer, it was really really hot, everytime I 'm going out from the car , it feels like walking in the oven.
But its ok, as long as you stay inside a lot, you will be ok (do your grocery early in the morning)
I dont know much about hospital dan doctors there, but I'm sure a lot of great doctors are available, usually

What is your reason for moving? It is not a move that I would make, especially with Lake Mead getting so low now.
