| Michigan -- far from the border.
Look at this job posing -- in Michigan -- far from the border. For Spanish speaking mental health workers to work with Spanish speaking immigrants with serious and persistent mental illness. I spoke once to someone in another city in the Midwest why there are so many Mexicans there in need of mental illness treatment (free from the government of course) because you wouldn't think mentally ill are being brought in to do the low-wage hard work jobs and he said they are brought by family members -- who of course don't expect to pay for them themselves. Many are actually brought in legally so the taxpayers can pay for them. http://www.latpro.com/jobs/1730827.html Must be bi-lingual in Spanish (speak and read). One year of professional experience working with adults experiencing serious and persistent mental illness required. |
