Will automobile manufacturing in Michigan ever improve, or do we need to move to

knowledge intense industries It seems that states and areas with strong high tech and knowledge industries are doing better. Should we just accept failure at car manufacturing and move on? What can we do with all of the unskilled people who used to make high wages? Are they trainable for other jobs?
