| Has anyone ever been to We-Fest in Detroit Lakes?
The last time I went, it was in 1988 and 1989...yes, I'm no spring chickadee! It's one of the biggest events in Minnesota...many well-known country music artists play and it's a lot of fun. I believe that the last time I was there, Ronnie Milsap, the Bellamy Brothers and a few of the up and coming bands played, also. Anyway, just re-living the past and wondering if anyone knows what I'm talking about!

Hhmmm country music.. Nope not me. I can only hear a few before it starts to get to me... wonder why that is? I like music... different strokes I guess.

Was that the same type of thing? What sort of music is the norm for Edgefest/Xfest?

That sounds more like my cup of tea...but I learned to appreciate country music after living in San Antonio for over ten years. I'm an avid Green Day fan...

| Re: Has anyone ever been to We-Fest in Detroit Lakes? The lead singer of one band threatened to beat up everybody throwing mud one year, only to get hit with more mud then walk off stage. I am not certain about who it was anymore, but I think it might have been Buckcherry. Green Day just had a good time with it and threw mud back. |
