Moving to Minneapolis and Worried about my health?

Hi All,
I will be moving to Minneapolis this August for my grad. studies. I've read a lot about the harsh winters there. I'm prepared to bear that kind of weather, may be, just for 2 years. Till now i've only lived in warmer climates. (i'm from india). ONly problem is I have a mild case of sinus. So i frequently catch cold and sometimes get sick becoz of it.
Can someone tell me if i will be able to manage there.
any info. would be greatly helpful to me.
