Mississippi Don't require a electrical License? That is scary. But for the rest of you here is a list and fee schedule for Mississippi. I just can't work in a state that don't require a license for my work. It is just too dangerous. I want someone who is trained or in training next to me. with over 800 rules and exceptions and calculations plus the National Electric Code. I would want Knowledge of training and schooling working with me unless their an apprentice. Oh ya the link sorry. WWW.msboc.State.ms.us/ |

It is in the link. Electricians have Sites we can go to and see if we can reciprocate our license to another state. Some do some don't. There are several states that have no license requirements. Mississippi, Missouri and 2 others I believe. But most require at least 2 years of school. Some require 5, But most require 4. here we have 4 or a Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering with 6000 hrs in the field. If we don't have a bachelors we must do 4 years of school and 8000 hrs in the Field for Journeyman's, and 10,000 hrs for Masters. With 16 Hrs of code update every 3 years.
