Living in Kansas city Missouri

Seeing that Kansas City is split by the state boarder, is there much of a difference between one side or there other? Is there rivalry between this two sides?

Cross posting that is it your Banned lol. Missiouri had a better economy years back. By my understanding it still does. But the people in KC regardless of side don't worry much about state line aside from taxes and schools. in their mind they are KC.
