I might be moving to Missoula, Montana. HELP!!?

Ummm....yah....I may be moving to Missoula, MT and I've never been there. Anyone know if it's nice? Is it high crime? What's housing like? What's the tax there? see, I have lots of other questions but....

oh, please don't send me links to Missoula Montana because frankly, I've established the concept of searching the web sites to Missoula on my own, thanks!

Just help with what you know of Missoula, Montana.

(Nobody was alive in travel so I posted this in this category.)

Montana is very beautiful. The people there are nice and friendly and most areas have very low crime. I wouldn't worry too much, just think of it as an adventure! Now, since this is a 'may' be moving don't go overboard yet with worry especially if the move doesn't go through. Just remember Montana is not some foreign country it's part of America, you will probably find they aren't that different from where you live now. I have a cousin who moved to Montana to raise her family and she LOVES it there. Her kids are very happy there.

Now to address the issue from Kitty above:
That said it is absurd that Kitty above said there is no HIV/AIDS in Montana. There are 434 people in Montana living with HIV & Aids. There have been over 700 cases in Montana since 1985. That is very low in compairson to other areas but to say there is no HIV or Aids in Montana is just IGNORANT..... The sad fact of it is HIV/Aids can be found all across the world and in every state in our nation.

I can tell you two things about Montana.

# 1 it had not had a reported case of aids, the last time I checked.

And the country is absolutely beautiful.

I would say that the crime rate is much lower and it seems like if there is no aids, then the morals are high there, which is way cool.

Enjoy.
