Great info, Dufferz! I lived in Kalispell, MT, for about 1 1/2 years and it was beautiful...if one likes the mountainous areas. Some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever witnessed, besides the ocean in the Florida panhandle, of course!

Thanks Baron. This we site is not sexy to say the least, but dang it has some serious data if you want to know the historic data. I used this in my area to pursuade my company to change policy regarding some of our weather related standards. It was a godsent. duff

Eastern Montana, yesterday a beautiful 74 degrees for the high with blue skies. More needed moisture coming today. The trees are budding out and my "Oregon" tulips have broken ground and seem to be doing well. It takes a while but the spring seems now to be on full force although the old timers tell of snow on the 4th of July ![]() The Baron tells me there are lots of good earthworms for the digging.

The heavy clouds loomed last evening but little rain fell. Today the high should be around 64. The birds were singing by 4 AM, they must work day shift . Anyone on the western side of the state want to let me know how it goes there? The Baron says that there was skunk in the yard last night!

Today the sun was shinning right off the bat. A thin layer of ice on the rain barrel so the overnight temps are still a little low. Lots of soaking rain yesterday. Great for the farmers who are seeding. Many things to learn about here in my new adopted state. Still hoping to hear from western Montana.

Today the high should reach upper 60's, sunny, had a good soaking rain yesterday and overnight. More tulips coming up. Farmers are seeding as fast as possible. Lots of big equipment moving around town.

Wind speeds of 30 MPH today, clear skies, 68 for the high, 40's over night. The apple trees are blooming, most farmers are done seeding, hoping for rain

With all the crazy weather in the Midwest, we are still dry and windy here. No rain yet in the eastern portion of the state although the mid and western side are socked in with rain in combination snow melt. The farmers need rain. A little rain-dance please

Rain arrived on the scene here yesterday around noon. Blessed sound of rain running off the roof. A real help to the farmers. High winds and there was a tornado watch in North Dakota which is more related to the weather area in eastern Montana. Everything is still continuing to receive moisture. We are very lucky. Visited Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada yesterday, very pretty town.
