My boyfriend and I are moving to Las Vegas .. Need Help!!?

Me and my boyfriend are moving the las vegas and need some advice on moving to vegas and looking for work... he is an experienced card dealer and im a licenced cosmetologist.. THANKs

Why are you moving to Vegas? Is it so he can deal cards? Have you thought about Biloxi Mississippi, or Atlantic City?

There are also Casinos in Lake Charles LS. Also up along the Texas/Louisiana Border. And there are some in New Orleans too.

But if your dead set on Vegas, expect to pay a small fortune to live there. I am sure you both will find work, most places hire online for Casino work, so you may apply online and set up interviews when you'll be in the area. Casinos have a huge turn around.. there are no days off, and they work on a points system get too many points and your fired. As a card dealer you need to stay busy or your not going to make many tips and that will make your day suck.

As for you, I am sure you can find some place to work.. but also remember working in Vegas you need to get a background check with the Sheriff department in Nevada, so if you have anything you may worry about in your background.. you may want to reconsider Vegas.

Now I lived in Gulfport MS. and they will be the next Vegas in just a few years.. you may want to go out that way and check it out.. they are also in need of workers in all fields so you may do better out there, and the cost of living is less than Vegas. I was Casino Security out there, and they are hiring all the time... and they have 3-5 new Casinos going up.. so you may do better out there than Vegas.. just something to think about.
