I'd like the opinion of anyone who has moved to Reno, Nevada?

It looks like a great place to live. If you could tell me the good, the bad and the ugly? How's the economy? How's the weather? etc. Thank you.

Weather is cold, and cold. The landscape isn't as treed as the Tahoe area. It is actually the poor man's Tahoe. I live a few hours away in CA. But have been to Reno many times in the last 40 years. It is a town of constant changes.

Employment is mostly centered around the casinos. Hotels, motels, gambling, food places. I'm sure there are some other industries in Reno but still the majority is the above.

It is pretty, in it's own way. Very cold in the winter. Not as much snow as Tahoe. A good place to retire.
