Thinking about moving from Philly to Las Vegas...?

After I graduate police academy I am really considering trying out for Las Vegas police department. I have never moved anywhere in my life (being that I am 23, in school, living at home) and I am really concerned about the whole process. It just seems very difficult trying to find a decent apartment in an area you are not familar with, moving all my belongings, transferring all the necessary personal info, plus all the other small details. Anyone have any advice that might help me out or put my fears to rest...

If you are moving and you have a job already lined up you don't have much to worry about. Their is always a motel wile you are looking for an apartment. If money is not a big problem, Put your things on storage until you are ready to move in. If this is what you want to do, You can make it work.
