I have lived in Vegas since 1970 and love it. It was a better place when there weren't all these people from CA, MX, etc., less traffic, less crime, lower prices. But no snow, little rain, nice seasons though summer can be intolerable to many. Lots of regular city stuff but a 24/7 365 day city for shopping, eating, and gambling. All kinds of jobs. And CA a half day drive away for the ocean or UT for skiing.

People move here because they are retired and don't want to pay income tax. There is no corporation tax so businesses like to develop their line here. People move here because they think they can get rich quick with gambling techniques but never realize now work for long if ever with the building of multi-billion dollar hotel casinos. People move here because they think they can just snap their fingers and have a job, house, etc. People move here because of friends or family. People move her to get their kids away from gang problems, but bring it with them.

This is a regular city with churches, malls, movie theatres, bowling lanes, etc. But this is also a town now over two million with millions of visitors from around the world.

No, I do not want to move!

Never. Especially not with Lake Mead currently at 50% capacity.
