Is moving to las vegas a good idea ?

I currently have a job in los angeles making about $40,000 per year, an apartment, a car. Im very comfortable here with some money saved up. I like my job and everything seems going great. But Im thinking about quiting my job and moving out to vegas . I dont have any job contacts there accept for posting my resumes on a few wesbites. I dont have a place to live and dont even know anyone there. If I move there, would it be an easy transition starting from scratch ?

If you're comfortable I would stay where you are. Las Vegas has a completely different feel to it and I don't think it is generally an appealing place to live permanently.

you don't say what your skills are..........
that is the critical issue and unemployment rate in Vegas(especially in your field).....
Take a weeks vacation and check it out...............visiting or wishing about a place is different from living there.........
