Las Vegas Professional Sports Teams

Do you think Las Vegas will get some professional sports teams in the near future?

Las Vegas is a pretty big city to not have any NFL, NBA, MLB, or NHL teams.

I guess there is the possibility of problems related to all the sports betting there.

I have read rumors of the Maloofs possibly trying to bring the Sacramento Kings to Las Vegas if Sacramento doesn't build them a new arena.

I think Las Vegas should have professional sports. They do have the Nascar race there I think 2 times a year. If there was a major baseball team there, I bet (LOL) they would do wonderfully!

Sacramento build "them" an arena? I'd think they had enough money to build their own!

If you were a sports pro of any kind... would you want to live in Vegas? UGH ... sorry Pink. Vegas is a fun place to get away but I don't think I would want to live there. Again no offence Pink!

Many sports team owners do have enough money to build an arena on their own, but they still always try to get the city or state to cover the majority of it since it brings visitors and revenue to the area. I moved from Minnesota and know that the former and current Minnesota Vikings owners are both billionaires, yet they have been pushing for years to get the state taxpayers to cover a new football specific stadium.
