California's New Early Primary

It is apparently a done-deal that California will hold their primary elections on Feb 5th. A supposed twenty other states are slated to go the same route.
Do you suppose this might have an effect on New Hampshire's political/social clout?
I can also see this seeping though to into other, more economic matters as well, such as employment numbers and housing starts. Is New Hampshire ready for this?

NH will move it's primary to Jan if it needs to, too have the first primary. WE Have to have our primary on a Tuesday at least 1 week before any similar event. So regardless of who comes after. The politicians will still have to Answer all the questions. The nice thing about NH and Iowa is Economic matters employment and all the like always come into play during primaries. The candidates are forced to answer questions about all topics on a face to face level. I mean your talking about a state where even Bill Clinton went door to door, knocking and answering questions. I mean when you have CNN and the candidates that are running in both parties saying they will pay even more attention to NH if the front loading gets as bad as they say. NH is the only state where a no name can become a someone with little money and good old fashioned house calls, and stating where and how they truly stand on the issues. As the more that front load the more important NH becomes. And Bill will make sure it stays that way. well here is just 1 article about the kind of person he is. http://www.latimes.com/news/politics...lines-politics and then you have the no names that are becoming names out of no-ware that will push for NH as well. So in the end NH will just be all that more important.

Re: California's New Early Primary

January. We will have full-time politics on every back-burner term-round. People will be running every day from here on.!
Can you explain the term "front loading"?

Glad that NH won't suffer. I fear we can/have/will/may become victims of our own politics but hey, this system has been working at least almost half-way decent since it started - ain't broke yet - don't fix what ain't broke! Dang, I dream of a new ride someday.
Oh, one more thing: were you referring to two "Bill"s in your prior post including Clinton ... or just one?
Thanks for the helpful link, TalkStates!
