We want to look around New Hampshire at a possible state to move to.?

Do any of you live there? If so, what areas do you like?
(We are living in Fairfield Country now (Connecticut) -- too expensive. Thanks!

depends on what you're used to. I lived 15 minutes outside of Portsmouth for 9 months (Jan-Sept) and hated the fact that it's a summer town and everything closes at 6 except for bars and a coffee shop. But the pros were: 1 hour north of Boston, and during the summer, they have plays in the park. We saw the sound of music....also, I loved the Manchester airport.....

If you are into a more tranquil lifestyle, look into the some of the small towns in the Monadnock region like Peterborough, Jaffrey, or Keene.
If you like the beach, nothing beats Rye.
If you want more to do and to be closer to Boston check out Atkinson, Salem and Derry.
Other pretty towns of interest incude Milford, Hollis and Bedford in the central part of state.
NH is a pretty diverse state. You'll have to do some research to narrow down your choices.
