sorta depends: what sort of vacation do you like? Are you more woodsy-mountains, or beach (yes, NH does have a small coastline), hiking, skiing, history.....

Having played 'travel agent' for lots of friends, there's lots of nice places. Are you planning on RVing, tenting, hoteling......?
