Warm jacket moving to new jersey NJ? teen young adult?

My daughter is moving to New jersey this year and I would like to buy her a jacket we live in FL right now so we dont have much to chose from or anything that would keep her warm in New jersey. She is very small and is 20 years old. (shes starting college up there)

She is in to hot topic looks but would take anything that would keep her warm. I say teen because she is very small she wears a XS/Small even youth sizes can fit her.

Anyways whats a good warm jacket that she can use up there I dont think she cares as much about what it looks like I just want to get her a nice one that will last and keep her warm

A bit costly for either, but Eddie Bauer was stuff that would make a polar bear sweat.
